CHORES . . .

End the hassle and teach your kids how to be responsible and succeed.
This Tool Kit will help you see the task of teaching and managing chores in a more positive way. Getting kids to do chores is just educating them in the many tasks they will have to do all of their life — either doing them skillfully without much thought and enjoying life OR hating responsibility and letting the necessary chores of life take away their contentment.

The Kids' Chores Management Tool Kit contains items to use over the years to make sure that your children do lots of chores to learn what they need to learn to go out into the "big world" by age 18.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHEET & RECORD

This is a worksheet to use over the years for each of your children. It lists the many essential skills (chores) they will need to do for considerable time to learn proficiency and the right attiude. We suggest a probable age when training can begin for each chore and a time when proficiency and right attitude should be attained.

The 4 copies for 4 children (extras available at small cost) are printed on sturdy 11" X 17" heavy stock (equivalent to four regular-sized sheets) and folded. Over the years you can supervise and record the progress of each of your kids.

CHORE ASSIGNMENT AND ACCOUNTABILITY WORKSHEETS

This pad of worksheets helps you to assign chores and evaluate performances. Once you are in the habit of communicating more formally about chores, you kids will take chores more seriously. Furthermore, this will be great training for the kind of job performance evaluations to come later during their careers.

CHORE MANAGEMENT BOOKLET

This booklet gives quick advice on how to teach chores and get kids to do them. It is not a comprehensive book, but more a set of very practical reminders. Other than instructions on how to use the other items of the Tool Kit, sections are titled:

Choices Are Important
