Great parenting involves a lot of talking between parents and kids. Unfortunately, that talking hardly covers most of the important areas.

This Great Parenting Conversations Tool Kit can help you make sure that a whole lot of important topics are discussed. The Kit will not only get you started in dialoguing about issues that concern parents, it will help you cover many topics that you might not otherwise think of.

My goal in putting these grids together was to help your family have those kind of conversations that add to the present and future success of your children, as well as make the job of parenting a little easier for you.

These communication aids were designed by myself, Dick Wulf.  I am a professional counselor and psychotherapist with over 42 years experience helping individuals, marriages, families, groups and teams. I am 67 years old, have been married for 44 years, and have three daughters and four grandchildren. I am also a published author and game designer .

My family did good. We were written up in a half-page newspaper article many years ago when my three daughters were in grade school.

I would like to see you do really good as a parent and leader of your family. That is why I put together the various communication kits. If you use them correctly, having fun as you do, your family will grow closer and be more responsible.

A parent's job is to make sure that at age 18 each of the kids can go out into the world and be successful. The best parents make certain that their kids have as many skills as possible and might be necessary. For example, one of the most important skills we want our kids to leave home with is that of being able to do chores they don't like to do over and over again for years with a positive attitude. For example, this would include the critical skill of being able to do a good job of washing the dishes while thinking of other things at the same time.
